Our mission is to inspire a love for stewarding God’s creation through delicious mostly plant-based meals. The herbs, produce and garnishes used in our catering are grown by local farms and gardeners based on what is in season. What we cannot grow ourselves is sourced from farmers markets and co-ops. Truly good food is good for the planet and our neighbors, too. Veganish™ offers full-service catering to serve patrons in Western North Carolina and beyond. Our menu is non-GMO, organic, gluten-free and dairy-free. Soul food that’s good for body and soul.

Now that you know which service package or a la carte items you want to order, next step is to confirm service style: family, buffet, plated or another option. Food truck service will be available in 2026; 2024-2025 all contracts are catering service.

Other Considerations:
– On site access to bathrooms required.
– Handwashing stations required.
– Filtered water provided to all, at no cost.
– Event site will need to be equipped with one of the following + required permits: commercial kitchen; residential kitchen; serving stations with electrical outlets.
– Styrofoam and plastics should be replaced with compostable containers and bio-degradable materials.
– Any food not served will be donated to local shelters or to those in need.
– Composte, recycling + trash options are required on site, with proper signage.
– Proof of liability insurance is a must.

Farm-to-Table
Our menus feature fresh produce, herbs, honey (and sometimes animal protein!) from our local farmer network, agricultural partners and community suppliers. Our Founder & Culinary Artist in Residence, Cortina Jenelle Caldwell, was first taught by her grandmother, a celebrated home chef and dietician in her own right – boasts 20+ years of experience in catering, hospitality and event design. OSHANNA is a faith-based organization working for the greater good at the intersection of art + agriculture. Our flagship program, Veganish™ is about more than just making good food. We produce our take soul food in a way that truly nourishes the body and soul. The OSHANNA Supper Club combines the best things about Veganish™ with the world-renowned World Café model to create containers where community is built – breaking bread with strangers, neighbors, family and friends while simultaneously facilitating conversations about how to address the local opportunity gaps. The OSHANNA Supper Club seeks to build a more just world through programs that combine art (i.e. theater, film, poetry, painting, etc) with agriculture. In partnership with other faith-based organizations, businesses, nonprofits, schools, government agencies, we host our program in homes, houses of worship, community centers and venues to create an intimate dining experience and purposeful conversation.
