Hallow App

One of the benefits of listening to Bible in a Year podcast on Hallow is that you can integrate Bible study into an overall prayer routine. With Hallow, you can set weekly prayer goals and receive custom prayer reminders throughout the day.

After listening to each session, you have the ability to take notes in your Hallow prayer journal, which you can refer back to later. You can also post these reflections to your Hallow family groups, sharing your faith journey with your friends, family, and/or Bible study group (hint, hint: Oshanna!).

You can also customize your experience with all of your favorite Hallow background music options including light piano, nature sounds, ocean waves, various chants, and more.

Lastly, praying on Hallow can count toward your Mindful Minutes within your Apple Health profile on iPhone.

Lofi, Gregorian Chants + More in Music.

In Hallow, you can pray with a variety of music from Harpa Dei’s Chant Rosary to several albums by Brother Isaiah. There’s something for all music tastes in the app — from upbeat tunes to more peaceful, classical music. We also have a Summer Praylist, featuring bright and peaceful songs, to help you relax in the light of the Son. On the app, we now have several kinds of music suitable for different kinds of prayer! You can find our new Music section with over 100 songs and 14 albums available in the Meditate tab.

If you are struggling to find a way to speak with God, start with a song you know. It might be “Be Thou My Vision” or “The First Noel” this Christmas. Find somewhere comfortable to sit or peaceful to walk and tune into the music. Notice the rhythm and note the lyrics of the song. As you begin to submerge yourself in the music, see if any of the words speak to you in a particular way.
